Uncertain Riches


I Timothy 6:17-21 paraphrase


Daily Psalm: Psalms 112:1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.


Daily Devotional: Charge them that are rich in this world, that they shouldn't be highminded, or trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God,

Who gives us richly all things to enjoy; That they should do good, that they are rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate:

Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on to eternal life.

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsly so called:

Which some professing ( in the church) have erred concerning the faith.
