Stir Up The Gift


II Timothy 1:3-8 paraphrase


Daily Psalm: Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.


Daily Devotional: To Timothy, Grace, mercy and peace from God. I have prayed without ceasing for you.

Greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy;

When I remember the unfeigned faith that is in you, which dwelt in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, I am persuaded in you also.

I put you in rememberance that you stir up the gift of God, which is in you by the putting on of my hands.

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Be not ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou a partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;


Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling.
