II Timothy 2:15-24 paraphrase

Daily Psalm: Psalms 119:6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

Daily Devotional: Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Shun ( avoid) the profane and vain babblings (gosipping) for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their word will eat as does a canker (worm chisleing away in your mind the words of God)....

Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his: Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also wood and earth (pottery) some are to honor and some to dishonor.

If a man purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel to honor, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared to every good work.

Flee youthful lusts: and follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

The servant of the Lord must not cause strife; but be gentle toward all men, capable to teach, patient (enduring evil) In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves;

If God will give them repentance that they might pull themselves out of the snare of the devil.

Who are taken captive by him at his will.

Daily Proverb: Proverbs 19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
