Not By Works


Titus 3:1-7 paraphrase


Daily Psalm: Psalms 67:4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth.


Daily Devotional: Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistraits, (laws) to be ready to every good work, to speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but be gentle, showing all meekness to all men.

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, decieved, serving divers (many) lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy hateful, and hating one another.

After that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; That being justified by his grace, we should be made

Heirs according to the hope of eternal life..
