Hebrews 4:8-13 paraphrase


Daily Psalm: Psalms 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.


Daily Devotional: For if Jesus had given them rest, then wouldn't he afterward have spoken of another day? There remains a rest to the people of God.

For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labor therefore to enter into the rest, lest any fall after the same example of unbelief.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened,


Unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
