Tempted And Without Sin


Hebrews 4:14-16 paraphrase


Daily Psalm: Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.


Daily Devotional: Seeing we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Paul has mentioned Christ as our high priest before, but goes into greater details here.

For we don't have a high priest that cannot be touched (sympathize or understands) with the feeling of our infirmities; (feebleness of mind and body, fraility, desease, sickness, and weakness) but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus is our example to live by, or attain to. So when we are tempted,

May we come through our temptation" sin free."
