" Being Patient "

James 5:7-11 paraphrase


Daily Psalm: Psalms40:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.


Daily Devotion: Be patient, brethren, until the comming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he recieves the early and latter rain.

Be you also patient: establish your hearts: for the comming of the Lord draws nigh. Don't murmer one against another, brethren, lest you be condemed:

Behold, the judge stands at the door. Take, (heed) my brethren, of the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

We count them happy which endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the things, swear not, neither by heaven, or the earth, nor by any other oath, but let your yea be yea; and your nay be nay;


Unless you fall into condemnation!!
