A Model Wife


I Peter 3:1-6 paraphrase


Daily Psalm: Psalms 128:3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.


Daily Devotional: Likewise you wives, be in subjection (obey) to your husbands; that, if any obey not the word,(unsaved) they also may without the word be won by observing you;

As they see your chaste conversation coupled with fear.(watching what you say) Whose adorning don't let it be the outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing gold, or puting on of apparel;

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price....(valuable).

Even Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters your are, as long as you do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. (no infidelities)

Here it shows the outward adorning is of no value to God compared to the meek and quiet spirit,


Where one is temporary; and the other is eternal.


Daily Proverb: Proverbs 5:18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
