Daily Devotional: By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered Isaac his only son.... By Faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau.... By faith Jacob when he was dying, blessed both sons of Joseph...

.By faith Joseph gave commandment concerning his bones... By faith Moses when he was born, was hid three months by his parents because they saw he was a proper child (pretty and fair).... By faith Moses, refused to be called the son of Pharoah's daughter; choosing to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season.... through faith he kept the passover....

By faith they passed through the Red Sea on dry ground, In which the Egyptians were drowned. By faith the walls of Jerico fell.... By faith Rahab perished not....

What shall I say? for time would fail me to tell Gideon, and of Barrak, Samson, Jephthae of David also, and Samuel of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, brought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the sword, the weak were made strong....

Wemon recieved their dead raised to life again.... They were tortured, mocked,scourged, imprisoned, stoned, sawn asunder, tempted, slain, wandered about in sheepskins, were destitute, afflicted and tormented, they wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves, of the earth.

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, recieved not the promise: God having provided a better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.


Without faith it is imposible to please God.
